It was almost two years ago when we stumbled upon the remix extraordinaire that goes by the name of Hibell, and he has yet to disappoint only taking on what seems to be the biggest tracks in the music industry and working his own spin on things. His latest re-work, Lorde’s “Perfect Places.”
“As ever with Lorde, her songwriting is 1st class, so you have a lot of song to play with when it comes to remixing one of her tracks. The original has a dark R&B sensibility to it, so for the remix I thought why not whack out my guitar and flip it into a mid tempo disco influenced club remix with some 80s inspired synth sounds.” – Hibell
