Welcome to Electric City. Here, you hear soulful guitar licks beautifully blended with buzzing sub bass and heavy blasting drums from every street corner and building. Where the bounds of creativity are expanded and not limited. A place of flashing lights and good vibes that makes everything seem like a beautiful dream leaving whack music, doubt and haters in ruin. This is a place where all sub genres of electronic music, hip hop, rock, funk, soul and all types of music live in collaboration and cohesion to bring out the best out of them all. A place where the citizens raise their hands in solidarity and celebrate their Utopian society that can’t be moved by the influence of those trying put them down. It is a place where your neighbor will tell you to turn your music up instead of calling the cops to come and turn it off. This is the city French group The Geek x VRV built, and it’s the place to be right now.
If you’re a fan of Electro Funk Soul, this one’s for you. This EP features amazing works of sampling and production and creates its own world for you to step in and experience. Each song features swinging groove, heavy pounding bass and soulful vocal/instrument samples glitched to absolute perfection that will have you festy kids dancing all night. Also featured is 2 amazing remixes from Late Night Radio and CloZee that are just icing on this already outstanding project.
