[TSS Premiere] KOWZ & Daryl Di-Kar Let Out Their “GREED”
Brian Poles

KOWZ, the French bass duo who joined forces in 2019 have conjured up a dynamic sound for themselves and are coming into 2022 feeling sinful. They are kicking off the new year with their ‘SEVEN’ EP featuring tracks titled with the deadly sins, including “GREED” featuring Daryl Di-Kar which we have for you today.

The song opens up as if it is tuning on a radio before Daryl Di-Kar’s deep rap lyrics come blaring through in full force. The production then comes in through with its heavy bassline and raspy snares. Finally, the climax hits you with bass-heavy synths to get you fired up. The drop really rains down on you in a fast-pace which is in opposition to the rest of the song which feels as if it goes in slow motion due to the lyrics. The energetic drop then comes in for round two to get you recharged as the song comes to a close.

You can stream “GREED” and check out the hectic, money throwin’ music video now down below before the full EP release on Wednesday, January, 26. The entire thing is dark and bone-shaking and encapsulates the theme of the deadly sins. This EP has us stoked to see where KOWZ will be taking their sound. The ‘SEVEN’ EP is a prime start for the new year and a great sign for things to come for this duo. So check out “GREED” now and don’t be shy to express your own greed when listening to the song.
