After escaping an assassination attempt last night leaving his birthday celebration out in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Rick Ross decides to get a little off his chest over Kendrick Lamar’s classic ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’. Rozay escaped the attempt on his life by driving off after shots were fired at his Rolls Royce then later crashing into an apartment building, no one was harmed. He’s a true TEFLON DON. Fresh off a very solid comeback album; Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head, which is in stores and on iTunes now, T.I. leaks two more gems for our listening pleasure. ‘Memories Back Then’, a tune that has been missing a dirty CDQ version for MONTHS, features STELLAR verses from TIP, Kendrick Lamar & B.o.B about their respective Ride or Die chicks, an amazing vocal hook by Kris Stephens, and crazy 808 filled production. T.I. then channels his alter-ego, TIP, and proceeds to tear Lil’ Wayne’s ‘No Worries’ instrumental to pieces, no mercy, strictly for the trap. Enjoy both tracks below. KING BACK!!

With this much anticipation, it’s only natural that Bassnectar give us the next track from his upcoming Freestyle EP. ‘Hologram’. While a little on the lighter side compared to some of his other tracks as of late, ‘Hologram’ still maintains a very good beat with some wavy synths over top of the bass, which is a little more nectar than bass today, either way a solid track in preparation for the full release of his EP next Tuesday.
Also, if you missed it, check out Bassnectar’s track, ‘Freestyle’ featuring Angel Haze.

Soo originally Lil’ Wayne’s new mixtape Dedication 4 was suppose to drop on the 15th, but since his guy 2 Chainz released his debut album Based On a T.R.U. Story on Tuesday, Wayne decided to put off his release “for a week or so.” To make up for the delay, he let go one track from the tape, a freestyle over the Drake/2 Chainz joint ‘No Lie’ and it goes in! Download it below and get ready for Dedication 4 hopefully next week.

We’ve been hearing a lot of new music from everyone’s favorite stoner Wiz Khalifa recently as he gears up for a joint (see what I did there) project with Curren$y, the Taylor Gang compilation album, and his sophomore album, O.N.I.F.C, all dropping within the next couple of months. On this freestyle, Wiz does what he does best and spits some excellent raps about designer fabrics, designer drugs and living good. It’s always refreshing to hear some new Wiz. Peep this joint, produced by Sledgren. Turn Up!

This is the original freestyle. How it was supposed to be heard before n*ggas violated and chopped my sh*t.
- J. Cole
Apparently J. Cole wasn’t too happy when Kirko Bangz released a chopped version of his freestyle as a remix of his single ‘Drank In My Cup,’ which is climbing the charts with every passing week. J. Cole felt like his full verse should be heard, and luckily for us, we have the official version right here. If you’ve heard the original you already know what this is about, and in this version, J. Cole just adds his magic to the track. Honestly, he makes the song even better! I’m not sure if this is going to be an official remix due to the controversy, but either way, this track is hot! And to think just last year I wasn’t a J. Cole fan at all haha. Enjoy!
