The wait is finally over avid bass music fans, NGHTMRE and Liquid Stranger have unleashed their colossal collaboration “Restless” featuring Mougleta to the world!
Being a staple in their most recent sets in addition to being the final offering off of NGHTMRE’s forthcoming UNSOUND 2 EP on Gud Vibrations, “Restless” is an uplifting vocal-driven anthem that packs quite the bone-rattling punch.
“I first found Liquid Stranger’s music back in 2009, when I was graduating high school. I had just picked up music production and was incredibly inspired by all his bass-heavy dubstep tunes. I’ve wanted to collaborate with him for many years and after sharing a festival transport together, we finally got to meet and talk music! I shared a few vocals I had received that I really loved and he resonated with ‘Restless’ the most. We worked remotely sending ideas back and forth until it was perfectly dialed! Not only was he great to work with, but he is an incredibly nice and genuine person. I’m so happy with how this one ended up sounding. We are already talking about starting another collab!” NGHTMRE explains.
Liquid Stranger adds, “I’ve been a huge fan of NGHTMRE’s work for years, and after connecting while on the road, we set out to make something special. We wanted to combine elements of both of our sounds with a strong vocal to create an anthem; a tall order. We found the perfect vocal via Mougleta, with lyrics that spoke to us since it reminded us of our busy, rootless, and restless lifestyle. We took our time and really tried to give it the attention it deserved, making it truly special. I’m extremely happy with how it came out and have been testing it at all my shows. Working with Tyler [NGHTMRE] has been a great experience, he’s an amazing person and it’s been really fun to work on this one together. I can’t wait to cook up something else with him in the future.”
