It’s time to power into the weekend with a high-octane new tune from SPORTMODE that goes by the name of “Take Me” and this one might just blow your speaker!
Proving to be a promising bass enthusiast since first popping onto the scene back in 2021, the Portland-based talent makes his s debut on Insomniac’s Discovery Project imprint with his latest offering after being the winning submission for the Discovery Project competition hosted at Beyond Wonderland SoCal, handpicked by guest judge Crankdat.
“‘TAKE ME’ was a really fun tune to make. I’ve been really into UKG / house lately and wanted to make something groovy while drawing inspiration from these genres. I started this tune by chopping up some vocal loops and laying down some swingy drums over them. Then, I recorded some bass jams and started mixing and matching until I ended up with the final product!” SPORTMODE explains.
