Future Funk

No Malarkey In Here

No Malarkey In Here
Chad Hirsch

Just when I think I’ve heard it all, there is yet another producer in the world ready to shatter my expectations. Indie and Future Funk are two genres that are somewhat opposites, but Malarkey is here to show that makes no difference. The track is cleverly titled ‘Arcade Brain’ most likely based on the classic sound design. The drop has a glitchy, groovy, vibe connected with some sweet vocal chops. The blend of sounds is very tight. The second drop is introduced by quick rising arpeggios that give off more of an Indie feel before entering back into that magical drop once again. This Malarkey track has all the elements of what I consider feel good music and has me looking to keep hitting that play button.
