You may already know Canadian producer, Shèmce, from their tropical house Sunkissed mix series or maybe his remix of Adrian Lux’s “Teenage Crime”? If not, let this be your introduction.
Shèmce’s new remix of The Weeknd‘s “Where You Belong” has been killing it this week, and I just can’t seem to get the tune out of my head. The rhythm builds up nicely and there are just so many layers to it. Elements of genres ranging from deep house, disco, tropical house, and even trap. A brilliant example of the style people are calling deep trap. Genre this, style that, this is beautiful. The snares roll perfectly and the deep bass line builds with his soulful, emotionally charged vocals. A simple keyboard progression ties it all together for one incredibly smooth track, just right for that hip, intimate club you like so much. Be sure to show Shèmce some of the support he deserves on this one! TUNE.
