Camelphat pulled out all the stops with their latest Miami Music Week takeover. “When The Stars Align” featured a lineup that I was quite unfamiliar with (I have been living under a rock these last two years). Not knowing the acts gave me the possibility to learning who they were and the music they spun.
Layla Benitez was the first set we caught. We loved the transitional flow she carried throughout her set. The set was earlier in the day so I think she was playing to that crowd and she did that very well. Next up we caught Øostil. I had to look this gent up immediately. I don’t know if he was allowed to go harder, but did he. I am excited to check out more of his stuff. Definitely worth your rabbit hole deep dive.
The National Hotel boasts not one, but two pools. One long infinity pool that goes to the very end and bleeds into the second one. This second one is close to the stage and is where you want to listen to the sets. Job well done Camelphat and team. It was such an incredible experience and looking forward to the next one.
