BadBadNotGood and Kaytranada Come Together On “Lavender”

BadBadNotGood and Kaytranada Come Together On “Lavender”
Will iam

When two of contemporary music’s most celebrated and popular names come together, you know something incredible is about to happen. BadBadNotGood and Kaytranada have both found great success in using jazz melodies in harmony with electronic synths to create a beautifully unique sound, and “Lavender” is no different.

The song has a slightly sinister, intriguing melody to it and feels perfectly synced between the two artists, giving the impression that the group is a bunch of old buddies. It’s the pair’s second collaboration, after “Weight Up” appeared on 99.9%, Kaytranada’s standout debut album. Check out “Lavender” below, and be sure to be on the lookout for BadBadNotGood’s IV, out on July 8.
