The First Single Off What So Not’s Gemini EP Is Here

Is that how you really feel? Is that what you really mean?

Will you come home?

Phrases echoed by George Maple’s voice, so breath-taking it could bring world peace. “Gemini” is the first single off What So Not’s forthcoming EP of the same name, containing the last collaborative work with ex-member and fellow Aussie producer, Flume.

Haunting vocals linger amidst a slow, throbbing drum beat accompanied by expertly-timed snares. A powerful drum kick leads you into the heart of the track – an intense key progression that comes off like some sort of digitized harpsichord. An emotionally charged, late night drive kind of track, “Gemini” shows us a down tempo, wonderfully different side to the project than we’ve seen.

Let it go. The tag line on their facebook post gives production credit to Flume and Emoh Instead’s real names, as if to say “friends first, DJs second.” We’re with you Emoh – What So Not forever.
