There’s no denying that it’s not easy being the #1 DJ in the world. While uninformed fans may think that being a DJ means flying around the world, partying at clubs, and playing shows, in reality, the title carries massive expectations, as every aspect of Hardwell’s show must be on point – from the lights, to the mixing, to the song selection, to the venue. In 2013, the year that Hardwell was first crowned the world’s #1 DJ, he released his I Am Hardwell documentary, which followed his journey from his humble beginnings to his first-ever world tour, which ultimately culminated in the Dutch titan taking the throne as the world’s best DJ.
In the two years since then, Hardwell has not only been re-crowned the world’s #1 DJ, but the Revealed Recordings boss has also released his debut album, United We Are, and continued his dominant run of world tours. As he attempts to win his third-straight crown as #1 DJ in the world, Hardwell has announced a second documentary, I Am Hardwell – Living the Dream, which will premiere at ADE on October 13th, and a new remix album for United We Are, which will be released on November 13th.
