Here it is ladies and gentlemen, thanks to Justin Jay the summertime vibes are officially upon us. Dirtybird’s youngest talent is coming off the success of his Momentum EP, but in celebration of his upcoming graduation and Coachella debut this past weekend, Justin Jay is giving away a new single “Mind Games.” Justin Jay has been sitting on this heater for some time now and to give some background on it he said:
“I made Mind Games 2 years ago, during the spring of my Sophomore year in college. I wanted to make something that could bring funky, feel-good vibes to the Dirtybird BBQ party during WMC that year. This track ended up becoming a staple in my sets for the whole summer and it’s still a favorite among my homies at school. With college coming to an end and Annie Mac on board, it feels like perfect timing to give you guys this tried and tested secret weapon.”
It’s a little different than what the house guru is known for as it is based around a groovy, disco-inspired guitar and a seriously addictive bass rhythm, but it is still up to standards with Justin Jay’s usual caliber. Get your mind right, press play, download this bad boy, and let Justin Jay make your week that much better.
