This isn’t the first time we’ve covered Russian space pirate The Brig, but this is definitely his finest offering to date. On each of these 3 tracks, pretty melodies are contrasted by heavy bass drops, and The Brig floats effortlessly between the two.
Honestly, with album art like the above, how could you not want to check this EP out? Although ‘Bring It On’ is less in your face with the pirate references than some of his other work, its nice to see a serious undertaking from this talented producer. The Crime Kitchen label is putting together a really solid roster, and we’re excited to hear what they bring us next.
