The Chainsmokers are keeping things fresh with new single “Spaces.” The bop is a dreamy, emotionally charged collaboration with German electronic folk DJ BUNT and the effortlessly soulful Izzy Bizu. The track blends The Chainsmokers’ signature pop-electronic polish with BUNT’s colorful, acoustic-inspired production, all wrapped around Izzy’s warm, expressive vocals.
It’s the kind of song that feels tailor-made for a quiet moment after a wild night—introspective, melodic, and full of heart. For BUNT (aka Levi Wijk), this marks another exciting step as a solo artist following his transition from duo to solo act in 2021. “Spaces” is a slow-burning anthem about distance, longing, and the beauty that lingers in what’s left unsaid—and it hits right where it’s supposed to.
