Kaskade returns with two new singles from his upcoming album undux. The new album is set to drop next month via Arkade and Monstercat. Following the reflective tone of “DNCR” and “Imprint,” these tracks dive deeper into the emotional heart of the project — exploring connection, heartbreak, and rebirth. “I Can’t Make You Love Me” unfolds like a quiet confession — spacious, cinematic, and full of ache. It captures the realization that closeness doesn’t always equal connection, pairing haunting vocals with sweeping, minimal production. It aligns with “DNCR” and I can’t stop listening to either of these monster records. The original vocal is from a 1991 release of the same name from Bonnie Raitt.
Its counterpart, “Started Over,” featuring Cayson Renshaw, finds beauty in renewal. Euphoric yet fragile, it mirrors that late-night tug between memory and hope — the feeling of learning to breathe again after loss. The low key drum n bass hits me right in the feels. I hope it does the same for you.
Together, they form the emotional backbone of “undux” — a reminder that endings often lead to honest new beginnings, and that Kaskade continues to evolve without losing his soul.
