GRAMMY® Award-winning duo The Chainsmokers have unleashed their latest single, “White Wine & Adderall” featuring Beau Nox, marking a bold new chapter in their musical evolution. This “bold and relentless” track arrives with an animated visualizer, offering fans a glimpse into their evolving sound.
Drew Taggart and Alex Pall revealed the song’s unusual genesis: a “tiny hook” that blossomed from a challenge. Pall dared Taggart to create a UKG-inspired version of the initial idea, a playful dare that echoes the creation of their hit “Don’t Let Me Down.” This collaborative spark led to a track that, while not initially intended for release, resonated powerfully with live audiences during global previews. “White Wine & Adderall” blends melancholic lyrics with a propulsive, UKG-infused production, creating a sound that has already garnered viral acclaim.
Beau Nox’s “haunting vocals” contribute to the track’s emotive tension, transforming it into a dancefloor anthem. Fans can also find an extended version exclusively on BEATPORT. Beau Nox himself praised The Chainsmokers, stating, “In a landscape where trends can sometimes overshadow substance, they continue to pioneer sound and music with originality and purpose.”
This release coincides with The Chainsmokers’ global tour, including recent shows in Asia and upcoming dates across North America and Europe, with stops at the Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary and Cavo Paradiso Club in Mykonos.
