Bob Moses at Brooklyn Mirage: A Hauntingly Beautiful Experience

Halloween in NYC is filled with options. Often the concert goer has a hard time deciding where to go. When this year came around, there was only one place to be on Saturday night. That was at Brooklyn Mirage for CityFox event series. The Zurich bred, Brooklyn residing series brought an air of anticipation as fans gathered for the stacked lineup to commence. The headliner, Bob Moses, consisting of the dynamic duo Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, delivered a set that was nothing short of mesmerizing.

From the moment they took the stage, the visuals were captivating. The setup allowed for an intimate experience, bringing the audience up close and personal with Tom and Jimmy. Watching them perform a semi-live set was a visual treat, enhancing the connection between the artists and their fans. And speaking of treats, hearing Tom’s live vocals was like getting an extra candy in your Halloween bag – absolutely thrilling!

The ambiance was further elevated by the night sky, adorned with a full moon that seemed to dance along with the rhythms. This celestial spectacle added a magical, almost surreal layer to the already incredible show. It was as if the moon itself was a cherry on top of an already perfect night. The crowd’s energy was palpable, especially during fan favorites like “Inner Light” and “Afterglow.” These tracks, in particular, seemed to resonate deeply with everyone, creating waves of excitement and euphoria throughout the Mirage.

For my friends and I, the night was more than just a concert; it was a shared experience that we sang along to from start to finish. Each song, each moment felt like it was etching itself into our memories, creating a special bond that we’ll cherish for years to come.
