If you’re going to rework a timeless classic, there will be a target one your back the moment it hits the internet especially one the caliber of M83‘s “Midnight City.” Luckily, LIHO did quite an impressive job that caught our attention, and we just had to share it.
This up-and-coming producer who hails from Belgium managed to work his magic on this gem without steering too far away from the original resulting in a lethal dose of nostalgia. Simplicity is key, a crisp progression, glittery synths, and an overall futuristic listening experience make this “vision” quite the tune.
