Callie Reiff is an upcoming DJ and Producer in New York City. At 17 years old, she is bringing a passion for music from her youth, as a ballet dancer. She started dancing professionally at 7 years old, so this girl has been hustling for a bit. As a DJ her first lesson was on vinyl and her first gig was at Webster Hall when she was only 15. She has released on Fool’s Gold, Nest, Daruma, and Audiophile XXL, as she’s risen up. This release, in particular, comes to us from the artist.
Stimulate starts out with what we can only assume is a “Stranger Things” sample, but it doesn’t stick the format of the typical “Stranger Things” remix we are all used to hearing. She pushes the sample to back to bring in a heavy trap breakdown with a similar progression. Layering in other vocal samples she has created a rich, trap track with loads of tonal depth. Keep in eye out for Callie and download this track for free below.
