Making her return to Lost In Dreams Records with her sophomore single, Pauline Herr has struck again with “Fault Line” featuring Marlhy.
Always some to serve up truly melodic masterpieces, her latest offering is a emotive hybrid fusing the elements of trance, melodic bass and techno into one captivating trap-tinged listening experience driven by melancholic chords, rippling synth riffs and an angelic vocal topline.
“‘Fault Line’ is a really special track to me because it’s my first time working with a female vocalist and I’m such a fan of Marlhy’s work. I originally wasn’t planning on having a full vocal on this song, but I showed it to Marlhy, and her vocal brought it to life. This song represents the hurt and anger that come towards the end of a relationship,” Pauline Herr shares.
“By being honest and vulnerable about my own struggles, I hope people feel empowered to get through theirs,” says Marlhy. “I want people to know they aren’t alone and have the strength to overcome anything.”
