Bijou‘s latest release titled “Guru” is something that’s truly unique. Although the track still carries on his quintessential house flair, Bijou proves that house music has the ability to extend into many different interpretations. “Guru” holds a dark yet tech-heavy vibe that’s kissed with sitar strings, creating enough friction to light up any dance-floor.
“For me, Guru is more than just a song. It’s a record that is more meaningful than anything I’ve ever written. The culture encompassed within the melody in the breaks, and certain aspects of the drop, resonate with me on a spiritual level. While writing Guru, I tried to incorporate major influences of current culture that exist in my life, while holding true to the G House sound that I love. I hope that others can find the connection I found to the vibration of the track, as I did.“
