8 Must See Acts During Hangout Music Festival 2016

8 Must See Acts During Hangout Music Festival 2016
Jeaux Bay

It is that time of year again. Where the beaches of Gulf Shores are hit with a so many beautiful faces ready to experience acts from all around the world. I feel like it was just yesterday we were laying in the hammocks, soaking in the sunshine, and watching Skrillex drop Jai Wolf’s remix of “Ease My Mind” on the mainstage. This is my favorite festival in the world and if you have not been you need to get your tickets immediately. Stretch the bank and make this happen, you will not regret it.

This year the lords of Hangout are turning up the heat and it is going to be hard to choose between all the bands playing. So, I decided to help you with a few I will not be missing, so you shouldn’t either. Listed in no particular order below are 7 bands you need to witness for yourself. See the full lineup at the bottom with set times for the following acts. Look forward to seeing all your smiling faces next weekend.

FLUME: An obvious must see act. Watch these videos below:

THE CHAINSMOKERS: God, these guys are the best thing since sliced bread (I know, I never understood the saying either). If you aren’t in love after these two videos, give up. You won’t find love.

LOST KINGS: When you speak of Los Angeles and electronic music in the same sentence, it usually doesn’t end without mentioning Lost Kings. This duo has been on fire for the last 12 months. After signing their first EP to Spinnin’ Records, they have moved on to the dropping even bigger hits.

ALISON WONDERLAND: Australia is a wonderland and it just so happens that Wonderland is coming to the beaches of Alabama. Be at Alison’s set or else!

JAI WOLF: One of a kind producer and person, Jai Wolf just released his new single “Drive” that you can stream below. This isn’t something you are going to want to miss being played out live.

PRINCE FOX: New York’s got a lot of great things to see but Prince Fox is easily one of the city’s greatest exports. You will not believe the show this guy will put on for you. Get to his set! Oh, and grab his new single “Fragile” below on iTunes.

JERRY FOLK: One of our favorite Norwegian’s has recently relocated to Los Angeles to try his hand at the music life. Let’s just say, it is definitely going as planned. He just released a new song “I’m Honestly Not A Gangster” featuring his own vocals. I think you are going to love it. Look forward to you joining us at his set.

SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE: This dude is an incredible producer and a must see set. We will be handing out free hugs at his set.
