Many of his remixes take on the personality and vibe of certain locations in the world, as his “Miami Sunset” remixes are typically punchy club constructions fitting for South Beach, while his “Ibiza Sunrise” remixes are brighter, sun-kissed tunes. For his latest effort, EDX has adopted his “Ibiza Sunrise” sound for his remix of Robin Schulz’s “Sugar.”
Schulz’s re-imagination of Baby Bash’s “Suga Suga” infuses the 2003 classic with a silky smooth bass line and bubbly personality. EDX’s remix infuses “Sugar” with a polished, piano-driven melody and groovy synth work that is perfect for an early morning at a club or noontime pool party.
