Kaylan Brown, the young producer from Texas known better as Skrux, just put out this beautifully melodic remix for Kelly Clarkson, and it’s got us craving a true collab. I’d love to hear her vocals on more dance tracks!
This is a wonderful specimen of melodic dubstep, and fans of Seven Lions and Adventure Club will love this tune. The breakdown comes from a resonant drum beat followed closely by a progression of glitch infused chords. All the things we love about Skrux can be found in this track—the effects, the sampling, the impeccable timing. If he wasn’t already on your radar, this will put you on notice.
