Last month, when Flume announced a second studio album was soon on the way we’ve been nervously waiting to hear what’s up the young producer’s sleeve. Today it seems the first single has been leaked, and we like it; a lot.
Entitled “That Look”, the new track is centred around a soulful female vocal drifting in and out of space along with Flume’s raw percussion and sparkling synth design; there even a cheeky little cow bell in there.
“I just want to write another record that’s as good or better than the one I’ve already made. That’s my main goal, to follow up stronger than before.” – Flume
We can only hope that this is a taster of what’s to come on the album; and knowing Flume it’ll be nothing short of spectacular. For now enjoy the new song.
