Sometimes we find ourselves lost in a sea of EDM tunes, drowning in the abyss of one repetitive sound. While saying there are “other fish in the sea,” is extremely cliche, I couldn’t think of a better fit for this latest track from Son Of Kick featuring Lady Leshurr & Paigey Cakey titled, “Hours.” This is the other fish that other fishes look to, having seamlessly blended together hip hop, electronic, and old school all into one. The infectious beat created by Son Of Kick is somewhere between bad ass meets classy chivalry. It’s with the help of Lady Leshurr’s powerful vocals and hard rap flavor up against Paigey Cakey’s slowed down, seductive chorus that this track finds it’s empowering female flow. I’ve had this song on repeat since first play and have had the hard time of moving on to any other tune. I highly suggest clicking the link below and purchasing your own copy. I promise you’ll want to listen for hours… and hours.
