Earlier this afternoon I was aimlessly stumbling across Soundcloud and happened to randomly come across this breath taking remix EP coming from a Miami-based duo called Urban Noize who made a 9-track remix EP mashing together the sounds of Jay Z and Lana Del Rey onto one harmonious project. Once the first track I listened to, “Hundred Dollar Bill,” came onto my headphones, I instantly opened Soundcloud since I didn’t remember these two collaborating in the past; that’s how seamlessly this EP flows.
Urban Noize takes you on a beautiful musical journey through the eyes of two very different musicians, who, when paired together, create something that I can only describe as timeless. The production and lyrics flow extremely well together. Every single track in this remix EP is on point, and it’s available for free download.
