If you haven’t heard this yet that’s okay… but now you have no excuse. Danny Brown’s new album ‘OLD’ was no doubt one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year thus far. Fool’s Gold Records did a great job not letting the album leak which definitely added to the hype surrounding the Detroit’s rappers new project. Features and productions coming from the likes of Freddie Gibbs, Purity Ring, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, A$AP Rocky, Paul White, Oh No, SKYWLKR, Rustie and A-Trak, along with a few others, make this something every rage hard music lover should listen to.
Danny sets fire to the mic as he straight up destroys one beat after the next with those hard hitting, crazy ass Danny Brown lyrics that his followers and fans have come to know and love. Tracks like Side A, Dip, Dope Fiend Rental, Dubstep and Handstand are some of wildest songs I’ve ever heard and are probably my top five favorite cuts off the album. Danny Brown is easily one of my favorite rappers making moves. Every thing the man does is so TURNT it’s on another level and ‘OLD’ is no exception. The only thing crazier than listening to this album would be seeing it performed LIVE by Danny at a sold out venue, which after the album’s wildly apparent success, is likely to happen in the very near future. Until then get put your rage face on, turn your volume up and get silly with one of the most unique figures in the game right now!
