Wax Motif Teams With Kura For “Lo Que Soy”

As we enter the heart of the summer, Wax Motif has made his highly anticipated return to Insomniac Records with his fiery sophomore single, “Lo Que Soy,” alongside Portugal’s rising-star Kura.

Undoubtedly a true dance anthem with its infectious Latin-fueled energy, “Lo Que Soy” comes equipped with a sultry salsa groove, sauntering piano keys and a commanding Spanish vocal hook.

Kura shares, “Back in October, I was creating a bunch of small drafts and ideas to test during ADE, and I had a 1-minute version of a Latin groove that I decided to play during that week in Amsterdam. I’ve always been a fan of Wax’s productions and, funny enough, we ended up playing the same boat party. When I played that early draft, I saw that Wax was bouncing his head and thinking, ‘What the hell is this.” At the end of my set, we finally got the chance to meet, and we decided that we had to make something together. Wax was able to work this idea and take it to the next level, with both our styles combined. The result is the perfect combination.”
