OddKidOut Teams Up With Britt Lari For “NEED IT”

Wasting no time after going “NUCLEAR” for his first track of 2023, OddKidOut returns to San Holo‘s bitbird to release his striking new single, “NEED IT.”

Teaming with Peruvian artist Britt Lari on this one, his latest offering serves as a moody, trap-tinged vocal gem of a production that packs quite the punch.

“This song is my favorite creation I’ve ever made. It sounds like how I feel inside all the time,” OddKidOut shares. “This song is about the difference between what we want, and what we actually need. I made this song with those feelings in mind; the sort of melancholy space between being excited and being terrified,” OddKidOut explains.

Britt Lari adds, “Working with OddKidOut on “NEED IT” was so refreshing. I’ve always been a huge fan of his work so as soon as we linked up, I was inspired to write. With gloomy vibes, we paired emotional pop-inspired vocals to match the heated and beat-driven production. This is a special project for me because it allowed me to explore new areas of creativity with an artist I truly admire. I hope we get to combine forces again soon!”
