Sage Armstrong & Astronomar Release New EP “Up Down Left Right” Including Remixes

In a continuation of dropping some of the most stacked releases in underground House music, in 2018, Atlanta-based label Psycho Disco! records has recruited everyone from marquee acts like DJ Craze and LA Riots, to burgeoning up and comers like Ocean Roulette and MkJay for the label. Today, the imprint founded by veteran DJ / producer Treasure Fingers, is unveiling one of their biggest releases this year with a new EP titled ‘Up Down Left Right’ from Sage Armstrong and Astronomar.

Out now, Sage Armstrong and Astronomar fuse their esteemed talents on a four-minute stomper, one Magnetic Mag describes as “frenetic clubby bass,” and a shining jewel in both respective artist’s discography. The pair aren’t done there either. In addition to the original mix, Armstrong and Astronomar have recruited a full-cast of remixers to take the track into the lab including Hunter Reid, Steady Rocky, Garneau, and Psycho Disco! head honcho Treasure Fingers. Transforming the tracks to cater to any house heads preference, ‘Up Down Left Right’ gets a makeover in the tech-house, bass-house, future-house arenas and almost everywhere in between.

If this is your first encounter with Astronomar, in 2013, Astronomar’s remix of Wax Motif and Neoteric’s ‘Go Deep’ blew up after nightly plays from Skrillex and Boys Noize, including a play on Skrillex’s Essential Mix for BBC Radio1. The remix hype further propelled Mar to notable releases on tastemaker labels including Mad Decent, Fools Gold, OWSLA, Dim Mak, BNR Trax and his own label Main Course, which he co-founded w/ Bot (1/2 of legendary Crookers) and Neoteric. Mar’s magical touch has definitely not gone unnoticed, being called upon to craft remixes for other noteworthy artists including What So Not, RL Grime, UZ and Canblaster. Alternatively, Sage Armstrong began making waves in the house music scene with his debut Dirtybird release, ‘What’s Yo Tempetcha?.’ Sage continues making music with no creative boundaries after receiving support from some of his favorite Dirtybird artists like Justin Martin and the boss man himself, Claude VonStroke.
