The sudden influx of new fans into these previously-underground genres gave dance music fans a telescope into a whole new world of dance music, like transformational festivals like Lightning in a Bottle, Symbiosis, and Desert Hearts. The music featured at these festivals is far from the mainstream, but as dance music’s popularity continued to grow, so did the number of fans that were discovering these sounds and styles.
Meet Luvberger, a DJ with a distinct grasp on the pulse of the underground. Luvberger may be a newcomer to the dance scene, but he has already displayed a keen ability for tastemaking with his “Double Double” mix. While the Luvberger name may not sound familiar, he’s made the rounds before as one-half of the duo fishFOOD, who has played on the main stage of EDC Orlando.
