It’s time to hit the ground running so turn you speakers up for today’s Daily Dose! Psymbionic is the Dubstep/Glitch/Psy project of John Burcham, also known as Arcturian Expedition, now hailing from Austin, TX. Influenced by the likes of Heyoka, Ooah, Vibesquad, Bassnectar, ill.gates, Mimosa, and many more, his new moniker has been steadily gaining attention and speed since it’s start in the Summer of 2009. For today’s Daily Dose, I have two different versions of Psymbionic’s remix of The Glitch Mob’s track ‘Drive It Like You Stole It.’ Psymbionic’s remix is full of glitched out beats and psychedelic, whompy bass-lines that will get your speakers pumping. When I downloaded the instrumental track, it came with a bonus version including lyrics from Del The Funky Homosapien. I tend to like dubstep hip hop a little more than straight dubstep so I posted the mashup first and the instrumental second. You can decide which one you like better.
