Kaskade has always built worlds through sound — and this winter, he’s inviting listeners into his most personal one yet. The eight-time GRAMMY nominee returns with “undux”, a studio album that marks a quiet turning point in his legendary career. Known for shaping modern dance music from “It’s You, It’s Me” to “Atmosphere”, Kaskade now turns inward, exploring the tension between light and shadow, connection and solitude. “undux” feels less like a comeback and more like a rediscovery — a meditation on what remains after the noise fades.
Almost all my deep favorite electronic records are from Kaskade. They have defined the moments that matter with the people who gave and give me life meaning. Kaskade has a way of connecting in that way where the phrase “words can’t describe it” hits the hardest. This new album will be released through his label Arkade and the Canadian label Monstercat. “undux” will bridge Kaskade’s timeless emotional depth with the forward edge of today’s electronic scene — a reminder that even the biggest rooms are filled, one heartbeat at a time.
Ryan mentions in the album release video on Instagram that Undux (pronounced un-Dew), “I felt hopeful. Undux became a study of that hope and the beauty of having faith in something bigger than ourselves…”
The album release date is set for December 4th of this year. Pre-save it at kaskade.komi.io.
