After their massive breakout with “Mwaki”, Zerb and Sofiya Nzau are back together for another round—this time joined by British singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu. Their new single “Kumbaya” arrives via Th3rd Brain, and it’s a smoother, more soulful follow-up that swaps viral highs for something deeper.
Nzau’s voice is still the anchor. Rich and rooted, her presence immediately sets the tone. Izzy Bizu floats in with a contrasting softness, creating a call-and-response that feels natural, almost spiritual. Zerb keeps the production clean—warm percussion, gentle pulses, and subtle textures that don’t get in the way.
With the tasty dance number, Zerb isn’t chasing another viral moment. He’s crafting a sound that sticks.
