“I made ‘I Know You Want To’ in the days leading up to my set at Seismic in November last year, Styler says. Before big sets, I usually lock myself in the studio and create a few new records to debut. I had been gravitating increasingly toward simpler drum patterns and bass lines, and I knew I wanted to put my twist on that sound. The dramatic expletive in the song highlights the frustration you feel when you realize you’re faced with no other option but to lock in and find a way to achieve whatever has been lingering in your mind or needs to get done,” Max Styler explains.
