James Hype, one of the UK’s most innovative and globally recognized DJs, is back with his latest single, “Don’t Wake Me Up,” out now via Republic Records. The track is a euphoric anthem characterized by soaring synths and delicate, dreamlike vocals—creating an irresistible invitation to lose yourself on the dance floor.

“Don’t Wake Me Up” is more than just another club hit. According to James, it’s the song he’s been striving to create for nearly a decade. “When I drop it in sets, people react like they’ve known it for years,” Hype shares, reflecting on how naturally the track resonates with crowds. This new release embodies a powerful evolution of his distinctive style, effortlessly blending huge synth-driven melodies with emotionally charged vocals.

The single arrives amidst a busy season for Hype. February marked the exciting return of his highly anticipated live-stream DJ sets on YouTube, originally a massive hit during lockdown, now captivating fans globally every Friday.

Additionally, James announced the return of “Our House,” his collaborative club concept with Meduza, set to dominate Ibiza’s legendary venue, Hï Ibiza, every Monday from June through September. Previously hosted in the intimate Club Room, the event now moves to the larger Theatre, promising fans an even more exhilarating experience.

As 2025 unfolds, James Hype continues to set the pace with more anticipated releases, significant festival performances, and headline shows yet to be announced. True to the single’s name, while James might not want anyone waking him up, fans definitely won’t be sleeping on what he brings to the music scene this year.
