Sammy Virji Drops UK Garage Earworm, “I Guess We’re Not The Same”

Sammy Virji is on an unstoppable streak, and his latest track, “I Guess We’re Not The Same,” proves he’s not slowing down anytime soon. Dropping via Astralwerks, this one’s a proper earworm—blending his signature UK garage bounce with a fresh twist that hits right in the feels.

After a whirlwind 2024—selling out North American and UK tours, making waves at Boiler Room, and smashing festival stages from Glastonbury to Parklife—Virji is keeping the fire alive. His new single kicks off with a dreamy vocal hook and an infectious melody before launching into a groove so slick it might just make your speakers levitate. Throw in that deep, pulsating bassline, and you’ve got a track primed to ignite dance floors worldwide.

Even Four Tet couldn’t resist dropping this heater on The Lot Radio, giving it an early stamp of approval. And if that’s not enough, Virji just tore through two sold-out nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton and is gearing up for the first leg of his North American tour.

Last year was nothing short of legendary—playing to a staggering 55,000 people at Chase & Status’ Milton Keynes Bowl takeover, going B2B with UKG icons at massive festivals, and even stirring up chatter on “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here”. This guy stays making moves.

With “I Guess We’re Not The Same,” Sammy Virji delivers yet another undeniable anthem, blending smooth vocals with skippy garage drums and bass that shakes you to your core. Expect this one to be rinsed in clubs, on airwaves, and in every DJ set worth its salt. If you weren’t already on the Sammy Virji train, now’s the time to hop on—this ride isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
