“Inhale/Exhale” The Hauntingly Sincere New Album From Rufus Du Sol

“Inhale/Exhale” The Hauntingly Sincere New Album From Rufus Du Sol
Stefan Jeaux

Rufus Du Sol returns with their highly-anticipated 5th studio album, “Inhale/Exhale.” There are few music groups that I share a profound respect for and unwavering obsession. Rufus is one of them. Seeing them close out the “Surrender” tour in Charlotte, North Carolina with friends with a dream come true. Myself, along with the rest of the developed world, has been waiting for new music to follow up that incredible run. The bar was set high, but they delivered in a way I did not expect. The group, comprised of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George, and
James Hunt rapidly matured musically since their 4th studio album.

When you listen to “Belong” you can feel the introspection and longing pulling you in deep. I saved every single song to my library. All 15 tracks are honest, real, and heavenly. The album is a journey through intense emotional landscapes, where the listener is guided through cycles of tension and release, vulnerability and catharsis. The sincerity and depth of the music leaves a lingering emotional imprint, making the experience feel haunting yet profoundly honest. If I had to pick the song that I play first when I open Spotify, it’s “The Life.” The track transports me to a sunset in the future where I got everything I ever wanted.

Tour dates can be found here. Do not wait on grabbing your tickets to the North American tour dates once they go live on Oct. 22nd, 2024.
