Arriving just a month ahead of the release of their highly anticipated album, Kiss & Forget, WhoMadeWho has now teamed up with fellow Danish artist Kölsch in their fifth and final single, “Heartless.”
Hot on the heels of their recent releases “Children,” “Love Will Save Me,” and “Kiss Me Hard,” the trio’s latest offering is a masterful collaboration where their signature groove-infused indie electronic sound merges effortlessly with Kölsch’s deep, melodic techno influences resulting in a emotionally resonant gem.
“Big viking-vibes! Making music with Danish techno legend Kölsch was so easy. Sometimes music is hard to make and takes years to finish. This one was easy and fun and we are super excited about the result! We have a feeling this one is going to go well, we already started playing it in the sets, and even though no one heard it before, it already feels like a hit every time we play it,” WhoMadeWho explains.
Kölsch adds, “After 25 years of friendship, I’m excited that the moment was right for us to collaborate. It seems as if it was destined when we started working on Heartless. The song and production came together so effortlessly as if two parts had been apart. I’m super proud of the end result, and can’t wait to share it with the world.”
