Renowned electronic music maestro Steve Angello starts the year on a high note, releasing the invigorating single “ME.” This track, characterized by its vibrant keys and a sense of enduring summer warmth, is a fresh offering from the Swedish House Mafia co-founder. This one is hot off his own label SIZE Records and Astralwerks. The Swede is a master of the electronic genre, his ability to design sounds that resonate is top class. “ME” as a tribute to the unadulterated energy found in his live sets.
“It represents that quintessential track that lingers with you, resonating long after the night ends,” he explains. The genesis of “ME” is rooted in spontaneity – conceptualized mere hours before his Size XX show in Stockholm, its immediate popularity with fans led to its global release. How cool of a story is that. Live testing out of new music has to be one of the greatest feelings a music maker can feel. This release is particularly timely, as Angello recently announced his return to Brazil for a series of exclusive performances in February, following a standout appearance at Tomorrowland. April will see him grace Coachella’s stages for both weekends, and he is also scheduled for Serbia’s Exit Festival later in the summer.
