Wasting no time after closing out the year with his single “Crashing Hard” alongside Casey Cook, Blanke has struck again unveiling the second offering from is forthcoming EP with the release of “Heaven.”
Giving the world another taste of what’s to come from his forthcoming debut EP on Monstercat this time connecting with Rival and KC, the Australian native shares an emotionally charged melodic dubstep weapon that serves as a poignant depiction of mental health struggles.
“I fell in love with this record from the moment I heard the bare orchestral bed that Rival sent. It was such an inspiring starting point for us to create from. I wanted to switch the more common arrangement to have a heavy dubstep drop first, and then finish on a soaring melodic moment. The journey it takes you on is so exciting and it’s been such a great part of my sets. I hope it resonates with you!” Blanke explains.
Rival adds, “Working alongside Blanke and KC was a great experience. It’s special being able to integrate all our individual styles into a track, and I’m super happy with how it came out. After spending time with Blanke at ADE, we put the final touches on the song and I’m super happy with how it came out. I hope you all enjoy it.”
“‘Heaven’ is a vulnerable mental health song and I just want to thank anyone who takes the time to listen. I hope it connects with people and can help articulate a sometimes hard-to-describe feeling. If things feel heavy, just know you’re not alone and that it’s okay to ask for help. Life is hard, but worth it,” KC comments.
