Still riding high off the recent release of her monstrous tune “WAR” featuring Rico Nasty, Nostalgix reveals plans for her highly anticipated Monstercat debut EP with her fiery new single, “Lockdown.”
Adding to her ever-growing arsenal with a high-octane bass house hit featuring MC Scrufizzer that sets to tone for what’s to come from her upcoming EP.
“I was stoked to work with UK based rapper Scruffizer on the vocals for the record. He has such a fun and carefree spirit to him that I’m drawn to. I absolutely loved working with him to bring ‘Lockdown’ to life, it was one of those songs that just felt so right and came together very naturally. We both love the record and can’t for you to hear it,” Nostalgix explains.
When discussing her forthcoming Star City EP, Nostalgix says “Star City is the evolution of Nostalgix. I’ve spent the last 6 years of my life finding my voice as an artist and perfecting my sound. It hasn’t been an easy road. I’ve always fought for what I’ve believed in and worked insanely hard to make it happen. With ‘Star City’ I feel like all of the efforts I’ve made, all the time I’ve put into my art, and everything I’ve learned are coming together in one project. All of the countless hours I’ve spent alone on my laptop making music, or the hours I’ve put into film production and design. With ‘Star City’ I welcome you to take a step into the world of Nostalgix.”
