Still buzzing after the release of Whales Goodies Vol.2 which featured 14 tracks from the Israeli bass mastermind, Whales has added to his arsenal with his newest offering “New Worlds” out now on Monstercat.
“I started ‘New Worlds’ back in 2020 when I was living in Los Angeles and doing my first big tour in the United States. I was really inspired by the energy and heavy-hitting tunes I was listening to while living in the US, which led me to the first demo. I didn’t touch the track for years after COVID hit. My production style shifted more towards melodic production since not playing shows left me pretty inspired to create a super heavy-hitting track,” Whales explains.
“Once shows resurfaced, this demo was one of the first to come back into mind. The catchy intro really made it difficult to forget about this track, so in 2022 I came back to ‘New Worlds’ to finally finish it. I made the drop heavy-hitting and super colorful with the vocal/melodic elements – and I really think this brought the song back to life. The resurrection of this track felt like a “new world” compared to the last demo, and that’s how the song was born.”
