Already quite the Monstercat fan favorite, SKYLER has returned to the powerhouse imprint with the release of “Fix Me” alongside Josh Rubin.
Serving as the second single from her forthcoming EP, her latest offering is a hard-hitting, vocal-driven melodic bass beast that reminds listeners to embrace vulnerability and self-reflection during challenging situations
“Although I finished this track before my rebrand and it’s a future-bass sound that’s different from what you’ll be hearing come from my project this year, I am still extremely proud to release “Fix Me” because of the raw, complex emotion behind it. The title of the song is a play on words, begging the world to ‘fix you,’ but the lyrics reflect the pain one feels when they are at the crossroads of knowing only you can fix yourself,” SKYLER explains.
Josh Rubin adds, “The hardest part about going through struggles is finding the courage to ask for help. A lot of times we’re our worst enemy and our biggest critic. It’s important to reach out and talk to friends and loved ones. A lot of times, we don’t realize it, but we’re all more similar and connected than we realize. Never be afraid to ask for help. You’re never alone.”
