One of the hottest names in all of electronic dance music continues to dominate the scene with John Summit‘s highly anticipated single alongside Hayla, “Where You Are,” being released for all the world to enjoy on this fine Friday.
Still riding high off of his unforgettable 2022, the Chicago native adds to his ever-growing discography with a soulful fan favorite that originally made it’s debut Kx5‘s debut headline show at the Los Angeles Coliseum back in December.
Keep in mind, Summit delivered an official remix of Kx5’s chart-topping single “Escape” which features vocals from the British singer-songwriter Hayla. A musical match made in heaven!
“When I first premiered Where You Are’ at the LA Coliseum, I was absolutely stunned by the reaction it received and I knew right away this track would be something special. Every time I play it out it’s easily the most powerful track in my sets and I truly feel like it’s my best record to date,” John Summit explains.
Hayla adds, “This track encapsulates the feeling of longing. When you’re alone at night tossing and turning
wondering about the other person and if they’re alone, or with someone else, or missing you unable to sleep too. Hoping that your bond is strong enough to pull you back together and wondering if they ever feel as good alone or with someone else as they do when they’re with you.
