
This month Ultra Music Festival will once again be invading Miami’s Bayfront Park for the 2023 edition of the festival, which features three days of star-studded lineups, including larger-than-life electronic and live acts for what is sure to be another unforgettable weekend.
While there is indeed no shortage of talent showcasing their skills across seven stages during this three-day extravaganza, I’ve decided to put together a “must-see” list to help assist you in putting together the perfect soundtrack to your weekend.
It’s obvious that everyone is excited to see industry heavy-hitters Swedish House Mafia, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Alesso, Hardwell, REZZ, Subtronics, Liquid Stranger, Kayzo but here are 8 sets that definitely deserve your attention at Ultra Miami this year.

While frolicking around the festival grounds of Ultra Miami, it’s always important to make some time for the Live Stage, especially this year with Grimes making her Ultra debut. Being a true rave enthusiast in edition to boasting quite the lengthy discography herself, which even includes a “rave edition” of her 2021 album Miss Anthropocene, she is sure to set the tone for the wild weekend with a captivating performance Friday evening.

Catching an Eric Prydz alone is an unforgettable musical journey; however, his HOLO show is simply in a league of its one and doesn’t happen too often. Easily considered the best audiovisual experience in the dance music scene at the moment, with pictures and videos simply not doing it justice, those lucky enough to be attending Ultra Miami this year must pay a visit to the RESISTANCE Megastructure on Friday night.

Ultra Miami will once again host the biggest names in electronic dance music with a handful of legends being sprinkled in the mix and that includes Kill The Noise. Bass music continues to thrive here in the United States so if you consider yourself a true headbanger, KTN is must-see TV. Never one to shy away from unleashing his fury with a steady barrage of bone-rattling bass from start to finish, this set is not for the faint of heart. Last year we got a lethal dose of his sophomore album EMBRACE just ahead of his release, who knows what he has instore for festival goers in 2023.

One of the hottest names in bass music making an appearance at Ultra Miami this year with IsoXO looking to electrify the crowd of the Worldwide Stage on Saturday. While those tapped into the world of bass have become quite familiar with his name (and his work), the San Diego native is sure to make a lasting impression on Ultranauts who are looking to finally see what all the hype is about.
G Jones & ISOxo – Say What |

We’re lucky enough to live in a time where our favorite artists tour regularly but sometimes there are sets that once in a blue moon with Oliver Heldens‘ HI-LO back-to-back deadmau5‘s TESTPILOT falling into that category. These two festival fan favorite’s will join forces as their alias for what is already considered one of the most anitvpated sets of the weekend. Get lost in the sounds of the underground with these two on Saturday at the RESISTANCE Megastructure.

While getting through Sunday is always a tall task after two days of Ultra in addition to all the Miami Music Week madness, Lucille Croft is sure to pump some serious energy into the crowd hot on the heels of her highly anticipated The Valentine Effect EP. With no genre being off limits when it comes to her productions and DJ sets, she is sure to keep festival goers on their toes as the soak up the sun during day

Another clash of the titans that will be taking place at Ultra’s Worldwide Stage this year will be Jauz going back-to-back with Svdden Death for what is sure to be a bass bash of epic proportions. With these two sharing the decks, its best to just expected the unexpected outside of the simple fact that this is going to be a true bass enthusiasts dream come true. What a time to be alive!

Kaskade and deadmau5‘s collaborative project Kx5 will be touching down in Miami to close things out Sunday night. Unloading a steady stream of singles off their forthcoming album, not only will this be a legendary set to see but you could even go ahead an say you’re witnessing a piece of electronic dance music history being able to catch these two in action live. Try you best and save your strength for Sunday because you’re going to need it!
