Valy Mo has quickly risen up in the ranks among the most influential French house artists at the present. Today, he comes to DND Recs with his new ‘Jugar / Perreo’ EP which boasts energetic Latin-house anthems. The fun-filled EP features collaborations with rising Southern California based talent Hypedelic, and up-and-coming Spanish DJ and producer Hemis.
The first song “Perreo” is a blend of deep and tech house with the vocals being the focal point of the song. Snares and deep basslines provide the backbone with synths coming in during the bridge of the song to give it some electric oomph. It will get your body quickly moving to the beat and its infectious rhythms.
“Jugar,” gets the party started right off the bat. Featuring classic house snares, mixed with bongos and sultry Spanish vocal samples, the song has it all. The whistling that is layered in gives it a nice breath of fresh air and gives it a nice exotic sound that is hard to forget.
