Serving as a proper blast from the past paying homage to New York City’s rave scene, her aptly titled new single is a true club weapon that masterfully fuses the worlds of funky, acid-tinged house music with an old-school hip-hop sound that is sure to get crowds hustling and bustling similar to the streets of the concrete jungle that never sleeps.
“I lived in NYC back in 2010/2011 and I fell in love. Since then I’ve always had a piece of my heart there and so I was inspired to make this track about the energy I felt when living there,it was the beginning of finding the true hustler inside of me, outside of sports and school. So I turned my experience into a 90s-inspired rave banger with breaks, acid, stabs and all the good stuff ?. It’s over, everything starts from now ???? let’s start a revolution with sound in America and bring us back to the roots of raving. NYC brought out the boss within me!” Mary Droppinz explains.
